Hi Allen, I actually got the question a few days ago. It is because of copyright issues. Sometimes UA-cam takes down videos where they think the music belongs to someone else, so we have to come up with music for these videos.

I agree this goes far too fast. We need to do a new session with Tobias Leo and slow it down a bit. Best regards

@@PAGmusic Thanx, didn't expect an answer😉 First of all is the question: who do you want to adress? Pros, grown up with Synth since 40 years, now trying to handle the uncomfortable Yamaha Software. Or Amateurs like me, playing since 40 years, but not studied physics and now trying to create the supersaw of Alan Walkers "Faded" 😎 For "Modified beeping" to create a sound, that is available in those 2000 presets is not very interesting to me. I am more interested in the "workflow". Principles, approaches. Despite my age I am not amused by the tired Soundmondo-Stuff. I want to create the great things... Jarre, Oldfield, Walker, Techno...legendary crazy or modern horny. And there is no instruction how to work with this FMX. All talk about the repulsive difficulties of FM Synthesis. But indeed noone solves this knot. Videos only show how those creators adjust their personal parameters. No explanation of the sense and plans. In times when Softsynths are so powerfull, clear structured and used by chart-composers I don't wonder why people don't even think about this praised FMX of Yamaha. Big comercial letters on the chassis, but why?? FM is ooold, AWM modern, powerfull and way more easier to adjust. FM seems to me like an overcome nostalgia. No modern use. At least as long as I don't hear sounds like in Faded or Oldfields "Mount Teide", which he doesn't play on his DX7😉. THOSE are rocking! 😁

@@hanswurst2490 Hi Hans, The video is adressing people with some synth experience in general but less FM experience. Talking about engines, my simple answer in short would be there is no superior engine, they all just serve different purposes. Analog, FM, Sampling, they all have their advantageges in their own field. Fm has been very trendy the last few years. A lot of modern tracks use it. This is not because we dont know how to play a song. It is because of copyright right issue. We play improvisation not to infridge the copyright belonging to the songwriter. UA-cam might take down the video if you don’t comply. B.R

@@BFHPET it is by far better. Also a higher price range. This or the newest update MODX+ should rather be compared to Roland Fantom 0. Also in this comparison I believe Yamaha comes out as the winner. However you can judge yourself by searching on UA-cam. Anderton synth did a nice comparison called ”Roland vs Yamaha - Is the new MODX+ better than the Fantom-0?” Good luck!

@@PAGmusic I just thinking bout buying some reface DX, I love DX FM Piano and other sounds like pad, synth, strings... For midi controller, I just thinking thab YC can controll any kind of parameters... Damn! 🔥

@@jonathanarleys DX and YC are both great, but very different. YC is just a pure organ which sound very good. It is a matter of what sound you need most. 😊

@@PAGmusic I guess I'll go with DX first... I need some DX piano and other sound for additional on stage also usb midi at home... YC can be another additional organs on Church and midi fader at studio... Awesome options here... 🔥🔥🔥
